OTTAWA CHAPTER OF THE ONTARIO INSURANCE ADJUSTERS ASSOCIATION
The Ottawa Valley Adjusters Association (OVAA) is the Ottawa Chapter of the Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association (OIAA)
made up typically of between 200 – 300 “full members” (company examiners or independent insurance adjusters) and associate/social members” (persons who are not adjusters but who are in fields
related to insurance such as law firms, auto repair/rental facilities, building construction/repair companies, medical rehabilitation and assessment centres, engineers, accountants, investigators, hotels, specialty services, etc.)

Alain Beauger, M.A.Sc., P.Eng.
Senior Associate, Civil & Structural Engineering
Alain is a Senior Associate with the Civil & Structural Engineering group, based out of 30 Forensic Engineering’s Ottawa office. Alain is a Professional Engineer with over 13 years of experience in civil, structural, and maritime/offshore engineering. His project experience includes working on stadiums, offshore/maritime structures, bridges, amusement and other non-building structures. His areas of expertise include steel design, advanced linear and non-linear finite element analysis, comprehensive knowledge of structural design codes (Canada, US & Europe), fatigue design, and the design of structures to withstand extreme blast and fire events.
Ivan Matijevic, M.A.Sc., P.Eng., DFE
Technical Director, Materials & Product Failure
Ivan Matijevic is a Technical Director with the Materials & Product Failure analysis group at 30 Forensic Engineering. Ivan has over 10 years of industry experience in Failure Analysis and Materials Laboratory roles, serving a diverse array of stakeholders ranging from Aerospace primes to law firms. He holds a Masters of Applied Science from the University of Toronto Material Science and Engineering department. At 30 Forensic Engineering, Ivan investigates all manner of product, system, and equipment failures.
